Hola.

Last 2 days, the family break fast at Singgahsana at Kampung Melayu. Sis' workplace organised the whole thang. So I was all drabbed up in my baju kurung. Well, I would like to express my feelings and thoughts on how some Malay people present themselves.

So, the people who were invited to the break fast event was not charge a single cent. Sounds good? Not for everyone. My mum volunteered to help around. Of course, my sis was busy, making sure the event went smooth. On the table, there was a big bowl of porridge, dates, satay, coffee/tea and bandung. Of course, while waiting for the actual food to come, you should just go on munching whatever that's on the table. It is the same at every hotel functions. I guess some ungrateful soul was being a noob and never been to this kind of functions. I'm not being cold but listen to my woes. The chef distributed the food to the helpers a lil late. Mum was going around pouring drinks for some people and telling them how sorry she was that the food will be served a little late. Some accepted the situation very calmly, very Islamic while some acted like a total *******.

There was this mak cik who dared saying things like "Why are you pouring the drink so slow!" or "Why is everything so slow? I might as well eat outside at some coffee shop!" Oh My God. How cold these people are. They were given free food FOR GOODNESS SAKE! Uncivillised fatass. They were not even charged a single cent! And, how heartless these creatures were. The people who served them haven't even break their fast. Where is your patience? Where is your consideration? But thank God not everyone was heartless. There are some who offered my mum dates so she can at least have something in her stomach. When mum told me about that brainless woman, I nearly got on my feet to chokeslam her haha but mum told me she left.

Ini lah Melayu Baru. Tsk tsk.

Okay enough of that. Yesterday, Umi and I accompanied Sis for her performance at Orchard for the President's Challenge. She performed with her youths playing Kulintang. Hmmmm.

Now the best part! FOOTBALL!!! Okay I know right some of you are so gonna click the little red box so u can shut this window but whatever.

Liverpool won 3-2 against Bolton at Reebok Stadium. It was hell of a game. Liverpool's victory wasn't convincing but to comeback and win 3-2 was pure class. I love my Redmen. Bolton scored first. It was heartbreaking. I knew that Liverpool had to score first to break the duck, to stop the trend. But then, Glen Johnson scored an equaliser for Liverpool! It was a beautiful goal! He scored twice for Liverpool so far and I'm sure there will be more. Half time, Bolton scored 2 mins after the break. Ouchie ouch. But I knew somehow my boys will bounce back because there were still time. And they did of course. Despite the opponent getting a red, the Reds bounced back strongly. Almost immediately, Fernando Torres scored an equaliser and they levelled with Bolton. 2-2. :) Spirit was burning strong again! Haha. And then about 82nd minute, Stevie G scored a typical Stevie G goal then only he can nailed it so fineeeeeeeee! Whaaaaam! You have to see it to believe it. Sensationalising? Whatever. And, Liverpool so deserved another goal when the ball rolls over the goalpost line. But of course, when it comes to Liverpool, the linesmen or the referee shut one eye. Bullshit. Whatever it was, Liverpool bagged 3 points. 2-3. I love you Liverpool.

I feel like writing about ManUre Vs ARSEnal match but I guess I don't wanna hurt some of my reader's feelings. I hate them both though. Didn't want any of them to win.

Anyway. Michael Jackson should be 51 yesterday if he was still breathing. Michael Jackson, I love you so much and I thank God that I dreamed of you on the same very night. It was a very breath-taking dream that only you and me know. It IS personal. It still is. Not telling a single soul but I can assure you there were no sex.

Alrighty.

Keeping the Faith
Wednesday, August 26, 20093:11 PM
Hola amigos.

Of course, from the title you would have guessed what I am gonna rant about. Yes, Liverpool slumped to a defeat against Aston Villa, at home. Liverpool won only 1 match out of the three. Collecting only 3 points from the maximum of 9 points. Not a good start. Of course not. I am not bias. The first half against Aston Villa was a huge disappointment. They played exactly like how they did against Spurs which wasn't impressive, at all. To add salt to the wound, Lucas Leiva headed an own goal... making Aston Villa lead 1-0 before half time.

Lucas had a very impressive game against Stoke City last week. Just when the faith was still burning, Lucas just had to do something to blow it away. That was an AWFUL own goal. He headed it in the net as if he was really scoring for Aston Villa. I had no clue what he was up to. And one fan came up with a quote "Every team needs the 12th man and Aston Villa has Lucas".

Of course, I was optimistic then. I reckoned Redmen would bounce back. Well, right before half time, the referee awarded a corner for Aston Villa. It was a poor decision. It looked like the ball was deflected from Martin Skrtel's leg but it didn't. And... Aston Villa scored. 2-0 down in first half.

Second half... I had expected a defensive formation from Aston Villa. But, it was a much better, better performance from Liverpool. They created countless chances but failed to convert them into goals. Freidel, Aston Villa's keeper, played a blinder. He was in his top form. He saved many goal attempts from Liverpool. Hell, even I was impressed but of course, I was even more frustrated. Fernando Torres was totally trapped in between defenders. There was one time, when Liverpool totally deserved a penalty. Fernando Torres would obviously get a ball in the net when the defender tackled him right in the penalty box. But obviously, the referee just had to make a poor, poor decision and gave Liverpool none. Again, I don't wanna be like Arsene Wenger who whines non stop about the referee.

Fernando Torres managed to get a ball in the net and it was 1-2. Faith was burning. I was sure Liverpool was going to comeback. And so I thought.

A few minutes after Aston Villa was awarded a penalty after a player being tackled my Stevie G. And let me say something, it was a bollock to give such penalty to Aston Villa. It was a fair tackle. If you watch the replay, the opponent actually fell AFTER Stevie G fell from the tackle. And, he practically DIVED. To compare this scenario with the one from Nando, Nando should deserve a penalty kick. And then it was 1-3. It was obvious. The looks on the players. Morale was perhaps low. But they kept on fighting till the final whistle. But it was too late. A little too late.

They had chances but they didn't make it. Aston Villa played fairly well. If only Liverpool scored as early as how they did against Stoke... Liverpool could have bagged 3 points home. Xabi Alonso's absence was felt during the match. He was a specialist for crosses and passes when he played for the Reds. And the defence... wasn't impressive. Carragher wasn't himself. Was it because of the bandage wrapped around his head like a ninja? Skrtel just recovered. How I wish Sami Hyppia was there. He could have run down Aston Villa like a bulldozer. And we missed Daniel Agger. :( But Glem Johnson had a good game. I like the fact that he's a threat to the opponent's defender. He attacks and defends just like Daniel Agger. Also, I would wish for Fabio Aureliio to recover fast and join the squad.

No more hopes for Liverpool to get their 19th title this season? Not so fast, amigo. Let me summarize on what a Liverpool legend, Ian Rush said. Last season, Manchester United lost 4 games and yet they won the title. Liverpool lost only 2 games but they failed to win the title. If a team with 4 loses can bring the title home, why not a team with only 2 loses? Liverpool just could not afford to lose more points. And, one thing that haunts Liverpool is to draw. We had to much draw last season and that explains our failure to bring our 19th home last season. So, keep the faith, fellow Reds! And to amateur football analysis from Berita Harian named Yusoff A. Rahman, I hope you read my post and feel ashame of yourself. Selamat berpuasa!

Hola.
Before I start, I just wanna wish a Happy Fasting to my Muslim friends.

Let's rewind back on last Sunday. As you know, my SO-CALLED futsal team went for a mini soccer tournament. I invited Valvin a.k.a V along. And I totally regret even to associate with those minahs. Omg. If only there weren't any conflict, we could have won so easily as the opponents were so... whatever. Sis was the one who brought up this idea. And those minahs are her clients. As in, she's working in a youth centre where all those kind of mats and minahs are at. So... she told me to join them. And I regret. I bet she does too. And, to make matters worst, the weather was BLISTERING HOT. It was so hot I just couldn't describe it. :( And, I look hideous in my photos so don't mind me.

The conflict: The situation was that as usual I played as the centre midfielder. And one of the minah played as a defender. And then after a match, she complained to my sister saying V and me played solo. And that we didn't pass the ball to her. Now, why on earth would I pass the ball back to my defender if I was moving the ball forward? And then she started ranting about how selfish I played. Come on... if I was selfish, I would totally not pass the ball to anyone. And then for the next game, she backed off. Being sulked and didn't wanna play anymore. And when she backed off, we didn't have any reserve as one of the better player in the team were injured. But we just carried on and guess what, without her we won 3-0. One for me, one for V and another one for Fit.

The trouble playing with minah is that they don't know the game. Their mindset was that attackers are always better than the defenders which is... a total rubbish. Remind me not to play with them anymore. V and me were laughing at their stupidity. Oh yeah, and her stupid bf was backing her up. He said something like the goalie has to be the one doing the goal kick. My sis was like how on earth is that possible if the goalie couldn't take goal kicks? And he claimed to coach some team. Omg. PUH-LEASEEEEEEE. We don't even know you so why wouldn't you just shut up.

Alright... here are some photos though, WITHOUT that girl. And there are more obviously but go check out my facebook.

My all time cheerleader!

Enough of last Sunday.

The EPL season has started. Liverpool lost their first match to Tottenham Hotspurs 1-2. I admit they played oh so badly. I knew Rafa had to start Yossi Benayoun in order to go forward. But he didn't. Instead, he put on Ryan Babel which wasn't on form since forever. Of course, we deserved one more penalty but the referee was blind. But I am not going to whine about this as I am NOT ARSENE WENGER. I was disappointed that Liverpool didn't play their best. But I am always optimistic when it comes to Liverpool. Haha. And hell yeah Liverpool thrashed Stoke 4-0. Gosh, I was afraid it was going to be a dejavu again for the Reds as Stoke held them to a draw twice last season. But, dejavu didn't work this time. :) Torres, Glen, Kuyt and Ngog. I have to say Lucas put on a very improved performance. Give the lad a chance. He might still be in shock when he knew he had to take Alonso's place.

Glen johnson's goal was magnificient. His home debut!
Photobucket

Stevie G had a good game as well. Setting up goals and such. :) Congrats Reds. Keep it up. And to Man U fans, don't worry, Im not gonna say anything. Why worry? Haha. Chill out. Oh yeah, some of you guys are typical. Owen had a bad game against Burnley and you guys started wondering why on earth the rednose took him in but when Owen scored during the pre season, you guys were so crazy over him. Chill out, whatcha yelling for?

Well, school is killing me slowly. I don't know if my tiny brain can take this torture. Exams will be on October. Early October. It's either I do well or not at all. I know I passed my 3 H2s subjects but it doesn't mean I am 100% guaranteed a place in Year 2. :( Things are getting difficult. :( But I'm trying. I swear.

The M.I footie team had our last training last Thursday. :( It was very sad. I don't wanna stay at home like a pig and grow unfit like a pig without training. So I already planned out my jogging schedule. :D Before buka I shall go for a jog!

I read New Moon. And I'm now on Eclipse. Slow, I know.

OH YEAH I watched a movie called ORPHAN. You guys should so watch it. It isn't a ghost story[I wouldn't be freaked out if it was]. But I can assure you that it is scary... unexpected... and... omg. Just go watch it will you?! It is worth it.

Hmmm... I guess that's all for now. Have a good one!

Hi folks.

I'm in the school library right now. It has been a hectic week so far. Tests, written assignments and projects. Good word. Chemistry test will be twice a week... permanently. And gosh, I'm dreading the thought of finishing those pile of essays waiting to be done during the weekends.

I had the Student Exchange interview yesterday. It went alright. I hope I get through and Sweden here I come. But there will always be another year.

It's true, I do not always update about what happen in my everyday life. I think that's amateur blogging.

Hollywood Crushes
Monday, August 10, 20099:21 PM
As the title said it, let's talk about celebrity crushes. My current Hollywood celebrity crushes. Nope. Not about footballers this time[though Daniel and me are more than just crushes haha], but actors. People that acts. Uhm. Duh.

I've always had a crush on... HUGH JACKMAN.

Photobucket

I mean, come on! He IS good-looking, sexy and oh my he looks so romantic. And he's a one-woman man as well. I remembered one time, during his interview where he had to kiss some chick during filming and then he ran home and kissed his wife and said he loves her a lot of times. Hehehehehehe. How adorable and deadly loyal was that. One more point to take note... I've always love older men. ;)

And then... there's CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY

Photobucket

Woooooo. He is soooo fine. Those eyes... God I would totally melt and with a high probability of unconsciousness if I ever look into those eyes face to face. Haha. He is extremely good-looking as well. Handsome. Tall. SIGHS.

There's STEVEN STRAIT

Photobucket

I totally love his mysterious look. His eyes are menacing but they are sexy as well. I first saw him during the movie Sky High. He had a sexy long hair with purple/red stripes. Of course, he is goodlooking. Hehe. He's a model. And totally my type of guy 3 years ago. :) Rockstar!

Photobucket

Lastly... my new celebrity crush
TAYLOR LAUTNER

Photobucket

Oh my. Yes he is younger than me and he might not be so tall but he sure has those killer features and assets. No, I don't care about THAT part oh puh-lease, people. Stop thinking of that. Oh, he is very handsome. I've always like him better than Robbert Pattinson. Okay, actually I've always like Jacob Black better than Edward Cullen. No, I'm not your typical Twilight Fan, I like the story but not too much as to be obsesses with it. I am currently only reading up to the second book, New Moon. I didn't keep track the amount of tears I let out. Haha. Okay back to him, yeah, he is basically very manly. Just the way I like them!

But all in all, nothing can beat my Daniel Agger. :)
